About Me

Hi, I'm Alex Goss

Why I do this

I started this business because I believe small and growing businesses deserve marketing that's thoughtful, honest, and actually tailored to them, not a one-size-fits-all package from a big agency with a rotating cast of account managers.

I'm 21, and I've spent the years since leaving school working in fast-paced, hands-on environments before ever calling myself a marketer, and I think that's exactly why I do this differently. I've had to earn trust quickly, learn on the job, and take ownership of real outcomes, not just tick boxes. That's the standard I hold my client work to as well.

  • Direct, one-on-one collaboration, no account managers or hand-offs
  • Clear reporting so you always know what's working
  • Flexible engagements, from one-off projects to ongoing support

How I actually got here

It started earlier than most people expect. During a school work placement at Virgin Atlantic, I was building web pages with HTML and Python and designing digital images for their site, my first real taste of the crossover between design, code, and marketing. That led me to a T Level in Digital Production, Design and Development at Chichester College, alongside a 315-hour internship at Patterson Dental, where I digitally designed crowns and bridges for dental practices, a strange but genuinely useful lesson in precision, client standards, and delivering technical work that has to be right first time.

Alongside my studies, I worked as a General Assistant at Out of Bounds, then spent a year and a half at McDonald's, where I was promoted from Crew Member to Shift Manager within three months, running shift plans, staff rotas, and income and expenditure while still a teenager. That grounding in operations and leadership under pressure carried straight into my next role.

At National Parking Control, alongside running SEO, PPC, email, and social media as the company's in-house Digital Marketer, I also took on IT support and compliance work, helping secure SafeContractor accreditation twice, leading efforts toward Great Place to Work certification, and contributing to the company reaching ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Cyber Essentials Plus, plus national rankings including #12 in the UK's Best Workplaces 2026. It's given me a broader view of how a business actually runs, not just how it markets itself, which is exactly what I bring into freelance work now.
